the word "chic" has truly lost all meaning thanks to social media trends and our seeming obsession with making everything "trendy." you put this across so well!!

I completely agree. The constant wind of social media trends has truly ruined many words that we use everyday. Thank you so much for engaging and supporting my work, I really appreciate it.

beautifully written. i often feel that we’ve become so focused on making life look chic that we forget to actually live it. somewhere between aesthetics, success, and constant presentation, the simple question of what makes a meaningful life gets lost. this piece really made me pause.

Thank you for the thoughtful comment! I am so glad that this piece made you stop and reflect. I completely agree with you, as a society we have become so obsessed with everything looking 'chic'; sometimes when I think about that, it makes me sad at the current state of the world.

exactly. Hope at least some of us would know where the ‘chic’ takes us, to, and where it shouldn't. ❤️
